One Story. Many Chapters.

Meet Jacquline Filbeck
Author · Licensed Clinical Social Worker · Yoga Teacher
Jacqui Filbeck is an author, licensed clinical social worker, speaker, and graduate student in public health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A native of rural Wayne County, North Carolina, her story began long before her professional titles — she became a teen mother while attending Southern Wayne High School, an experience that shaped her understanding of resilience, identity, and perseverance.
After graduation, she served ten years in the United States Air Force before earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in social work. In 2020, she returned home to eastern North Carolina, where she now serves her community through clinical work, wellness initiatives, speaking engagements, and advocacy.
She's also an avid runner and yoga teacher who believes healing happens not only in therapy offices, but through movement, honest conversation, and connection.
